site rules
yes, i know everybody hates reading the rules, especially since there are so many out there. but here it goes.
• respect » respect one another, and respect the site plot
• graphics » you must not steal any graphics, posts, etc that isn't yours. » signature limit is 400 x 350 » please be sure that your graphics don't stretch the boards
• roleplaying » you must post at least one paragraph when rping (5-8 sentences) » you may not double post! it's only allowed after no one has replied to your thread after 24-hours » you cannot enter a thread and know everything that's going on because you just entered the scene. » everyone must have a bio before they can rp unless either i, kali, anna or any other staff tell you it's okay to rp » you must have a full name to rp, unless you're a vampyre and your changed name does not have a last name. » you cannot kill another character! that's it. if you don't want your character anymore, just ask another person if they want it, or pm me so i can delete it » you cannot control another character's action
• bio's » everyone must have a bio! » no one's perfect so i don't expect someone to create a character that's perfect. flaws are a good thing, and it makes a character more interesting. » not everyone can be a fledgling!!! we need humans too, and adults. » fifth formers and older are allowed to have affinity, if you're younger but would like to have one, pm me or make a note about it on your bio. make sure that you give details on how you got your affinity, or how you found out about it. » please remember that you can find the link to the forms at the side panel
• celeb claiming » do not use famous person to be your character meaning you cannot walk around as johnny depp. however, you may use johnny depp as your celeb claim, you just can't be johnny depp.
• spamming » no spamming on the boards » no advertising on the c-box, there's a board for that
• language » cursing is allowed but please do not go over board. i don't want to read a post that has the f word in every other word. » if you need to use ratings [g, pg-13, r, etc], use it just don't go over board with your details. be careful though when you post, make sure that you don't put something that's too explicit.
•activity » please try to stay active » activity check would be held in random but i'll inform you when » i'll give new members a month to create their bio. i hope that's plenty of time. after that, if the bio's not done, then i'll delete the character.
•threads » if you have a thread that i've moved to the archives, but you want it back, just pm me
•grammars » please use correct grammar and spelling. there's a spell check for that.

`vampyres ♠ only adult vampyres can hear blood pounding through veins ♠ adult vampyres have sixth sense; many adult vamps are "psychic" but a lot just listen to guts. ♠ fledglings heal quickly ♠ it is forbidden for vampyre fledglings to drink human blood ♠ it is discouraged for adult vampyres to drink blood from humans ♠ blood lust can only be felt when one is at the sixth former ♠ not all vampyre fledglings survive the change, some do die because their body reject the change (but are resurrected and experience a different kind of change) ♠ each fledglings are marked [meaning that they were chosen to be a vampire] ♠ vampyres have markings, crescent moon shape, on their forehead. as a fledgling, the mark is only an outline. as the vampyre matures, the markings would slowly be filled in. ♠ red vampyres have red markings, instead of blue ♠ vampyres experience abnormal hair and nail growth due to the physical change that's going through them ♠ vampyres do not burst do flame due to sun exposure, they only get irritated, however red vampyres do.
`cats ♠ a cat chooses its owner, so if you find a cat roaming around and it just jumps at you and started purring at you, [and acts like you've known each other for a long time] dont be afraid of it ♠ cats can come anywhere
`school codes ♠ there is a school uniform but feel free to add your own design or whatever to them ♠ students at house of night can stay up to 6 AM ♠ there are visitations hours to the house of night, so if you're a human you can go and make a thread at the house of night if you wish. i'm not going to delete it or anything ♠when students go out, they must hide their markings. no one is allowed to wear their uniforms either and they can't stay out for too long.
`imprinting ♠ a human can imprint to a vampyre but that could only happen if a vampyre and a human has a strong bond and the vampyre has drunk blood from the human ♠ there are different levels of imprinting, so that means that if the vampyre and its human imprint does not stay in touch, then the imprinting could fade away. for full imprinting however, it's different
